News Soamanandrariny, Mozambique: ADRA Responds to Urgent Food, Hygiene Needs

On the 11th and 12th of May 2020, the Adventist Development and Relief Agency, ADRA, delivered commodities and wash kits to the most vulnerable families in Soamanandrariny, Antananarivo. The response was funded by Latter-Day Saint Charities.
Four hundred seventy families, approximately 2820 people, who are afflicted by the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and whose income has drastically decreased were helped. The donation was provided to meet the recipient’s urgent food requirements and to improve access to hygiene.
